Commitment

How many of you remember the start of the burpee challenge? 88 days ago a bunch of cfsjers took on the 100 day burpee challenge, starting at 1 going to 100, and like a marathon we watched people try their best, but eventually start walking and then stop all together. With this being said, many people now have a real concept of commitment. Let's back our folks for the last 12 days.

WOD
100 back squats 60% of 1RM
Each minute stop and do 4 burpees

Day 8

So two weeks til I get my kit. Oh well. Getting some range in my shoulder, but no exercise is driving me crazy. I can feel where the deltoid was cut, which is new. I'm going to start Pt next week and keeping up with the laser.

day 5

Not too bad. Pain is really not (neither is my hgh yet) there and the arm is loosening up. It scares me a little because I am worried that I'll push it a little too far. 2nd laser treatment, and attribute the recovery to this.

Day 2

Totally off the pain meds and after a conversation with the dr, found out there was a lot more work done. In addition to the slap tear and anchors, I had a bone spur, rotator cuff damage, arthritis and bursitis that all got taken care of.

Went to the chiro for my 1st cold laser treatment. I'll let you know how that's going to progress, but I'll be going 3x per week til I'm 100%.

I'll also keep my fingers crossed that my 160 ius of hgh will show.

Not really any pain, but a raging headache all day that I attribute to the pain meds.

day 1

So after 3 hours of labrum surgery and a full day of rest (and 7 norco), I finally got to doing something about recovery...supercharged. An order of 80 ius of hgh (hopefully it will be delivered) and a dose of the cold laser will be my tomorrow. At this point, 195.7, 6'4" and hovering over 10% (more like12 realistically). We'll see how it goes.
